April 15th is tax day, to make this day even more memorable is the stepping down of Reggie Fils-Aime, the president of Nintendo of America.

Reggie started as executive vice president of sales and marketing in 2003. He then rose to chief operating office in 2006.

He oversaw the launch of the great Wii and 3DS systems, but also the less successful WiiU. I think he’s going out with a bang after the launch of the Switch.

On Twitter he left a video for all of his fans thanking them…

Doug Bowser will be jumping from his role as Head of sales and marketing to fill the presidential position. Bowser joined Nintendo in 2015 after working for EA and P&G.

I am looking forward to all of the future meme’s involving Bowser, my body is ready!

UPDATE: Reggie opened his own Twitter account you can follow him @Reggie.
